I have a chihuahua and he is sick!! I don’t know how to help him and when i went she said he was fine, but he is not eating. HELP!!!

i NEED HELP ON FEEDING MY 5LB. 4YR. OLD CHIHUAHUA A RAW FOOD DIET. i KNOW IT’S TO BE 80/10/10 %, AND 2-3% OF BODY WEIGHT, MAYBE 2 OZ., BUT WHAT DOES 10% OF WHAT BONE LOOK LIKE? IS THAT A THIGH OR WING, OR LEG OF CHICKEN ? THANK YOU, kASEY

I adopted a chihuahua and know nothing about her I have had her for near a year and she has just started throwing up at night time only Please help me to understand as to why this is happening perhaps i am feedingher the wrong food i have changed it a few times what should i be feeding her look forward to any e-mails

Hi will someone help me please. I have a long haired foxy chihuahua with a respiratory. She pants more often has a wheezing noise in her throat. She isn’t breathing right. She has taken meds for allergy, I changed her dry dog food, and I also give her some chicken. She is a little overweight Her nose seems to be warm, and her tail is down a lot.She was bitten on her side by a German Shepard last week, and took antibiotics and I used a betadine solution for the bite. I go to one vet who does nothing for her wheezing, to another who subscribes for the bite, but not the wheezing. I’m very upset with all this. my dog wakes me at night to scratch her, plus she licks her paws and genitals. Please help me, I don’t know what to do anymore, plus I don’t have much faith in the vets in Sparta, Greece. Thank you s_parti_300@hotmail.com

There are good ready made dog foods available, however, you must do research and read the ingredient panels! A great site to help you understand what is in your dog’s food and whether you are feeding a good or potentially harmful food is http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com. Look for foods with at least a five star rating. This site’s index lets consumers know whether their dog’s food is recommended or not. I agree with the author of the above article. SHAME ON THE MAJOR DOG FOOD COMPANIES!

All I want to know is how much food my 3.5 lb chihuahua should be fed daily. I don’t want to buy a book or anything like that. I have a recipe for making the food from chicken, rice and avocado; he loves it. But I know they will overeat and I want to be wise. Can SOMEONE help em?
