Is so smart and so entertaining. I get more joy from this little guy then from any other pet I’ve ever had. And he’s very easy for me to take care of since I’m disabled. One question. I had him pretty much housebroke but as soon as I gave him more freedom he started pottying all over the house again. Do you know what might have caused it? Should I kennel him more? I really don’t like doing that.

I just commented about my teacup Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix, Cesar. I forgot to add that although it took some time & a lot of worry, Cesar is completely switched over to dog food. At first he was eating Iams, but since have switched him to, Nature’s Variety Instinct Rabbit Meal Formula…High Protein, Grain Free, Gluten Free. He also gets Instinct Raw Rabbit Formula which is a frozen meat diet. Is this a good choice of diet for him& if not why and what would be best? We shop at Petco.

I’ve had him for about 3 months & he’ll be 2yrs old in Feb. The previous owner fed him only table food since birth & never had him vetted. About a month ago I took him to my vet, had him neutered, his shots (rabies/distemper & parvo), a few baby teeth that hadn’t fallen out removed & a surgery to remove a testicle that hadn’t dropped & was rolling around next to the inside of his leg, however after reading about the issues they can have I feel maybe I haven’t done enough. Is there anything else that would be suggested I get done to ensure he’s healthy? We’ve become inseperable & even my 3 cats love him, esp my 20 lb, 6 yr old bengal, Ghia. She even cleans him. I’d like to give him the happiest, healthiest & longest life possible. Life without Cesar just wouldn’t be the same.

On the paoers for the mom it states teacup. But if there is no such thing why did they list it on her papers? She weighs abou 5lbd. The boy chi also listed as teacup. Weighs maybe 2 but I doubt. The two of them just had pups. There is one out the five that is extremely small. The pups are now 4 weeks the others kick her to the curb all the tme. So I keep a close eye on them. Im not into the breeding business. But I’m going to keep the “runt”. Whats the best way to keep her from not getting a change to eat and make her a bed where she will not be lonely. I hold her all the time and try to keep her warm. And not shaking. Any suggestions.

I love my chiquz but I’m also very sad for her I have her dad who is maybe under 4 lbs and he’s almost 15 and totally healthy so you never know with These dogies

I am home with him 95 percent of the time. We had bouts with hypoglycemia and teeth issues also some arthritis and he has a full wardrobe to keep him warm or shielded from the sun. We are blessed with a happy, healthy little guy – well worth the extra effort!

My aunt had booties and sweaters and hair bows and all kinds of stuff for Winnie. She was the cutest little thing ever she never had health issues or never became obese. She recently got a new one Bear and he’s such a darling its all in how you care for your babys and if you get annual check UPS and shots. And know the proper pet requirements. So don’t day anything about dying in 3 years that’s all bull! It depends if its properally cared for. I’m frying one for valentines day. So stop acting like children I have even talked to many other vets and they agree with me.

Don’t buy into the hype if u baby them they are great dogs and very protective of their owners

We named him “Chipper” as in a chip off the block! At about 1.4 lbs he was a force to be reckoned with but, as the saying goes, his bark was much worse than his bite! I can’t recall any incident with biting. When we had a first child Chipper was a force to be reckoned with when he perceived any action with the baby was harmful!! I was 20 years old at that time and now, at 66, I am finding that I want another small dog to care for. I have 2 chinchillas that I adore, but they won’t sit still on a lap. I truly love them and I know that their love is returned to me, but I am craving an animal to cuddle with! I had many dogs over the years..my Samoyed, Silverwind natasha, was my favorite for the larger dog class but I lived in the country then. i live in a 1 bedroom apt. now and am quite serious about finding another “small” chihuahua (under 3 lbs). God bless all you animal lovers out there, no matter what they are or how they look, they will return your love a thousand-fold!! Money can’t buy that!

My 4 yr old cant say Chiwahwah so she called her Choo Choo Wah Wah so we have Princess Choo Choo & we adore her so much. I think they are the best loving cute puppy to have around & hope to have her around for a long time. the owners just need to keep an open eye, vet, & follow certain procedures to keep them healthy.

I love her so much already I’ve only had her maybe 2weeks the lady I boughter her from was not a breeder her chihuahua just got pregnant by another little chihuahua and so she sold her to us because she lives in an apartment and can’t have more then one dog. My little one was the runt of the litter box. she eats well and we give her good healthy food we did our research on that she is very active loves to play and rums threw the whole house she is doing good on pottie traning we have her using a litter box. What I seen in previous comments. Shaw that they don’t live longer then 3yrs and I really hope that’s not true. All the.comments contradict each other I wish people would stop talking. Out of their ass and actually research shit before they open their mouths if you don’t know what. Your talking. About shut up and let the realm experts talk. I want to know the truth not your un qualified opinions. About something you reply don’t have a clue on. Puppy mills and back yard breeding is ducking cruel and stupid that I’ve done research on! How. Would you like to be used and abused like that just because of your looks, strengths, and weaknesses?!
