I just watched the video after googling if it’s normal for chi’s to snore… I’m a new dog owner first ever in my 55 yrs and she is my therapy for real! Ihad London Paris Millan for 2 years & she is my 💗very spoiled, ornery , bossy & funny as hell!! I found that she does communicate with me by snorting or grunting when she wants something😊

I am looking for a short hair apple head teacup Chihuahua no more than 5 pounds full grown female. Must be able to do video call with pup I pick because I have been doing this for days spoke to over 60 ppl seen hundreds off dogs all same on everyone’s site. Its getting to be a chore and not exciting and fun any more. Please help

I just lost my 10 year old chihuahua last night. He had one episode of gasping air while he was asleep last month and almost died but made it took him to the vet and was diagnosed with heart murmur and started on meds . He was fine after that and yesterday he played and ate fine . He always sleep with me in bed . Before we went to sleep , he jumped on my chest same as every night put his face on my face kissed him and told him how much I loved him and then saw him sleeping then I heard him gasping for air and lost his pulse I tried cpr him but no success . I love him so much he means the world to me I can’t stop crying I want him back I miss my Poco so much

this is woundeuful storie! my dog senorr wooffers has an amputated leg due to the war and he was born with autism. We tried everything we could to give him great live. But unfortunelty later he got diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes :(. Me and my husband were behind on our billz and struggled to pay for his diebty medication. My dog is ugly but it’s ok. He was getting obeser by the day and I was scared for my little woofers. And on the morning of May 5th 2022, Senor Woofers ran away. Me and my husband were absolutly devatseted :(. We haven’t seen him since…I pray everyday that he is doing okay. That troublemaker is probably out in the streets up to no good with the gang dogs. I never had issues with him so I pray he is ok. But, great story mia!

5 years ago my husband was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma that was stage 4 and had spread to his liver. His liver enzymes were elevated but steadily have gone back down and he has been stable for a awhile. My chi started having issues with her hair falling out so I took her to the vet and her liver enzymes are elevated.

I know many people believe this is just folklore or superstition but I believe that chi’s are canine illness sponges.

My apple head Chihuahua has suddenly stopped loving me it seems. She is almost 4. When My fiance and I purchased her, she instantly took to me. I’ve heard that they are one person dogs but I was the one that wasn’t constantly trying to touch her, pet her, or pick her up. My fiance passed away last year and she was confused a little bit at first but she was fine with just her and I. A year and a half has passed and I am in a new relationship with another woman. My Chihuahua’s name is pookie. Pookie and I are living with my new girlfriend. Nothing really outside of the normal behavior of pookie has changed until recently. It’s like I woke up the next day and she looks at me differently. This happened right after I my girlfriend and I took our relationship to the next level. I mean”right” after. The very next morning actually. She is a good dog and she has been my rock through all of this. Now she acts just like a jealous x girlfriend or something towards me. I know this sounds strange but this is what I am dealing with the last 3 days. Should I take her to the vet? I love my dog and I don’t know what to do about it. Please help me!!!

What a wonderful story about your adorable Marley.
Our 4 year old toy poodle Wyatt has elavated bile acids and we are looking at having an ultrasound and additional tests proving what type of liver disease he might have.May I ask what medicine was used and was it primarily for the meningitis and that also assisted the his liver condition.

Haha! Looked this up while my chi was snoring on the sofa next to me. I watched the video, and the audio came through a speaker. Really freaked my little Pinto out! She stopped snoring, but went right back to sleep when audio was off.

my mom and grandmother chi’s live with me now. Grandmother is in a nursing facility for her special needs and my mom lives with me, but works outside of the home fulltime. One scratches at the bedroom door wanting out, but if I open it he hides and barks. The other one won’t let me leave the bedroom door open, if I do, she will bark continuously. I’ve tried giving them baths, hand feeding them, walking them, giving them praise and treats, spraying them with water. Nothing works. If I ignore them, the barking and scratching at the door goes away, but they still hate me. I can’t move around in my own house without them barking and if I attempt to get close to them they run and hide. They are not social, they hate everyone. I’ve been nipped on the ankle by one of them and bit on a finger by the other for attempting to grab them from under the bed. If my mom is home they are much happier, but if I move around or come near they bark continuously and it drives my mom crazy. She can’t even have her bedroom door open if we are home. If mom is home alone with them, they walk all over the home and act happy and do not bark much, but as soon as me or my family come home, the bad behaviors start up again.

6 year old female Chiweenie. Overweight @ 15 lbs. Eating normally, drinking a little less, sleeping peacefully at night, still takes walks, wants to go for a ride. Mouth closed with heavy panting today, even while resting. Nasal sounds congested, gets choked. Licking the air with head elevated. Seems she is not getting enough air. No known ingestion of harmful objects or chemicals. Problem: allergies? compressed air way? Getting a bit concerned.

My 1 year old Bella Ari was playing all day and seemed fine. I left home and came back- shocked in disbelief she was laid out passed away. I have a 16 year old Morkie that is in excellent health. Bella was the cutest 4 lb Chihuahua that was very affectionate.
