Kristy was going through a dark time when she discovered that Rubyrose was also going through a rough time after having life saving surgery because of a cat biting her – the cat’s tooth went through her skull. Kristy didn’t hesitate to take this little baby in and give her a good life!

Rubyrose absolutely LOVES chicken. Every year on her birthday in August, Kristy prepares her a whole chicken as a cake 🍰 and she absolutely loves it! Rubyrose is special to Kristy because she is a tiny Chihuahua with a big heart that has overcome mountains in her life.

Rubyrose loves her stroller walks with Kristy and the two of them are now living the good life!

Here is China’s awesome story as told by her loving mommy, Peggy Rozell!

“China is smarter and the most protective Chihuahua I’ve ever had. It took me over a year to find her after being scammed and thinking I’d never find the puppy of my dreams, but then China suddenly appeared before me on puppies.com and my prayers were answered!

I’ve had Chihuahuas all my life, but I’ve never had a female or a long coat Chihuahua before. However, after much thought, this is what I decided I wanted. I just wasn’t going to settle for anything else!

Not having any idea about how I was going to get her, God blessed me and thankfully China’s breeder drove 7 hours to bring her directly to me. I had to wait 4 whole weeks though until she was 8 weeks old. That had to be the longest 4 weeks of my life, especially since I had been without a Chihuahua for a year and unfortunately was scammed 4 times to the tune of about $2,000.

I honestly didn’t know anything about looking for a chihuahua breeder online, so I was ripe for vulnerability. I was even afraid that Sheila, the breeder who bred China, could be scamming me, but she wasn’t and turned out to be a completely legitimate chihuahua breeder.

Sheila went above and beyond to prove to me that she was legitimate by sending me videos and pictures of China almost every day. She is a very sweet and special chihuahua breeder and if I ever felt that China would need a friend, I wouldn’t hesitate to contact her again.”

What a fantastic ending to a fabulous Chihuahua feature! We are so happy Peggy found China and we wish them many wonderful years of companionship together!

This is Nikki, a 6 year old female rescue Chihuahua mix from Sacramento, California! She is the sweet and loyal companion to Rex Hirahara, who adopted her from a local rescue group at only 8 weeks old. Nikki plays well with kids, other dogs, cats, other adults and is loving to all living things, including Rex’s parrot! It’s absolutely amazing how a small 12 lb dog like Nikki has changed Rex’s life for the better!

One thing about Nikki that Rex enjoys is when he gives her a bone or plush dog toy to play with, she will usually goes off into the bedroom to bury it in the clothes hamper and if you follow her, she gets upset and takes it to a new place to hide. The best things in life are definitely the simple things!

Rex loves and appreciates Nikki so much that he hopes whoever reads this will be inspired to adopt a rescue chihuahua because he knows you won’t regret it!

Meet Miss RubyRose!  She’s a 9 year old pure white, teacup-size chihuahua from Marayong, New South Whales, that is miraculously is still here after being attacked by a cat and having blood poisoning!  She is a fighter and survived two life-saving surgeries after these traumas!

RubyRose has the sweetest personality, rarely barks, and LOVES chicken, sleeping and laying by the heater.  She dislikes baths (as you can see in the picture), but loves cuddles and kisses from her mum.

jax is 5 years old and was rescued from a abusive home.  he loves his cat companion buddy vincent – they play together all the time.  jax always wakes up his mommy claudia in the morning with snuggles and kisses.  he has traveled to brazil and visited many beaches and national parks, he has a good life!  jax is special to claudia because she found him during a very difficult time of her life and he made her want to keep on –  he literally saved her life.

happy is a 2 year old applehead chihuahua that is happy 24/7, hence his name!  he was born in the ukraine and brought to his new home in the usa, where it was discovered that he had a rare fur coat coloring, called “domino” aka “husky marked,” which is the same gene huskies get their color from.  happy is only 3 lbs and is just adorable! wouldn’t you agree? 🙂
